For more than a decade, I’ve immersed myself in the craft of capturing life’s extraordinary moments, from destination weddings in the Caribbean, to working with renowned figures like Horst Schulze and John Maxwell.
HOW IT'S GOING
Grateful for every opportunity and new experience on the road; still, nothing compares to the sense of belonging when I return home. If you ask me, home is wherever my wife and our two boys find themselves. My primary and most heartfelt assignment revolves around those wonderful souls that adorn our breakfast table every morning day in and day out.

THE MOMENT IT ALL CLICKED
As the world embraced #stayhomestaysafe and working from home became the norm, my photography style evolved in the most delightful way. As we eagerly awaited the arrival of our second child, my wife Cinthia’s maternity session became an inspiring little project within the safety of our own home. It was this new experience with photography that sparked a sense of excitement and joy, allowing us to capture the magic of this special journey and discover the true essence of preserving heartfelt moments.
THAT experience reshaped my perspective on family photographY
It led me to forget chasing perfection in favor of authentically capturing the beauty and meaning within everyday moments. I arrived at the conclusion that the most powerful images are rarely the most visually striking, but rather the ones that call to mind deep emotions and preserve genuine, unposed memories.

What struck me most about being photographed by Rick was how easy it was and how effortless we felt in front of his camera, even with a 2-year-old daughter. I have never been more in love with images of myself and my family! I look back on these photographs often and I am continually inspired to love my family well.

Rick is very fun, easy going, and a natural artist when it came to doing our shoot. FAQ
How many photos will I receive?
I don’t place a strict cap on the number of final images. My goal is to thoughtfully document your session and deliver a well-rounded collection that tells the full story of our time together.
Can I purchase the raw (unedited) files?
Raw files are not available for purchase. The final images you receive are carefully selected and professionally edited to reflect my style and ensure the highest quality. Raw files also require specialized software and significant storage, which can make them difficult to manage.
How do I book with you?
To start, click on the ‘Booking’ link in the nav bar at the top of your screen. To reserve your appointment with me, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract. Your final balance is due on the day of your session or any time before then.
What should we wear?
Wear what makes you feel like yourself, comfortable and confident. I typically suggest avoiding distracting logos or patterns, but you are free to choose what you love. One of the benefits of an in-home session is the flexibility, so quick wardrobe changes are always welcome.
How will I receive my final images?
Your final images will be delivered within 2–4 weeks via an online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to download high-resolution, fully edited JPEG files directly to your device.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Your gallery includes a built-in shop where you can order professional-quality prints, canvases, and framed pieces, all delivered directly to you. That said, you’re welcome to print your images wherever you prefer—I’m also happy to recommend trusted labs if needed.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans have to change. And in these situations we are happy to reschedule your session and apply your deposit to a new appointment within 60 calendar days of your original session.
